At the brink of my mind,
My acumen has it's limits,
if there is one thing I know,
it is never put a price on peace.
Losing sight of what really matters,
we cut the dragon's throat,
and let it's blood be wasted,
into a lake of misfortune.
Follow me,
no fuck that,
Pursue your self,
Vitality and Karma,
will pass it's judgement,
and if you are amiss,
stand up and try again.
For your fate,
is your own to write,
take hold of your conception.
Bleeding out,
our society has been maimed and killed,
Breathing in,
taste the air of pollution,
Hundreds point,
point down a vertical cliff,
thousands weep,
as we collapse together.
At the brink of my mind,
My acumen has it's limits,
if there is one thing I know,
it is never put a price on peace.
Losing sight of what really matters,
we cut the dragon's throat,
and let it's blood be wasted,
into a lake of misfortune.
We conquer all we see,
yet we are masters of nothing,
With a mind as feeble as ours,
we can only see life through.
In The Company Of Men is a four piece Mathcore act from Iceland which has made a name for itself through a DIY-work method, a unique sound and consistently explosive live shows.
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
the contrast in both vocal parts really attracts me to this album. there's an even angrier sound to this than most other albums and i love that aspect Normie <3
I don't even know what all these genres even are but this is some good shit.
edit: I actually do know what most of these genres are, about two years later. khonsu00
